Ingredients
-
9 cups Flour
1 1/2 cup Non-fat Dry Milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
3 tsp Salt
2 1/4 cups Shortning
Tips
Again, 1 cup IS NOT an individual serving size.
Example:
2 cups mix and 1 1/2 cup milk is the basic recipe for a pot pie top crust. My pot pie recipe serves eight. So, in this instance, an actual serving size for my food tracker would be 1/4 cup mix.
Directions
Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a mixer except the shortning. Mix well on low-medium low for 5 minutes. Add shortning and mix another 5 minutes.
