Introduction

Tried this tonight, really like it. I substituted Fiber One (original) cereal for crackers or bread. Moist, holds together nicely, good flavor. Tried this tonight, really like it. I substituted Fiber One (original) cereal for crackers or bread. Moist, holds together nicely, good flavor.

Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 1.25 lbs
    Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
Fiber One Original Cereal, 1/2 cup
    Basil, 1 tsp
    Tomato Sauce, 8 oz can

Tips

Would have added some leaf spinach, kale, etc, but only had frozen and was afraid it would get too watery. Will try that next time. It would increase both fiber and add a veggie serving.

Directions

Mix it all up with your hands, so it is well combined. Put in an 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Let "rest" for five minutes before cutting.
