Ingredients

4 pork (figured into nutrition facts) or turkey (for lower fat content) italian sausage links
2 cups Ragu Light - Tomato and Basil pasta sauce
8 oz. Barilla Plus pasta, penne, elbow, or rotini
4 oz shredded or sliced part-skim mozzarella cheese (optional, figured into nutrition facts)
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional, figured into nutrition facts)
Optional diced red pepper, mushrooms, etc.
Directions
Cook pasta to almost al dente and broil or pan-fry sausages according to package directions.
Drain pasta, do not rinse, and set aside.
Slice and paper towel drain sausage (bite-size).
Combine pasta, sausage, and pasta sauce in a casserole dish or cast iron skillet, and top with cheeses, if desired.
Bake, covered, at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and/or pasta is bubbly.
Try with fresh garlic and herbs, extra veggies (not in nutrition facts), and spicy sausages.
