Introduction
Good for a snack - add protien powder for a quick breakfast to go! Good for a snack - add protien powder for a quick breakfast to go!Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
1 cup of mixed frozen berries
1 small lunch box size container of low fat/no fat yogurt - can be fruit, vanilla or plain (for this recipe I used plain)
1 small banana
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of orange juice
Tips
I add protien powder if I am heading out to a workout class or am short on time for breakfast. I did not add that to the nutrition calculation.
Directions
Throw it all in a blender and blend til smooth. Pour in glasses and voila - treat in a glass!
For the yogurt - I just grab a lunch box size one from the fridge and dump it in. Seems to work.
I buy the big bag of frozen fruit from Costco, run down downstairs to the deep freezer with a 1 cup measuring cup, fill it with fruit - sometimes I have lots of peaches, sometimes lots of pineapple, lots of strawberries - each time I make it, it has a different fruity taste. It's great!
Serving Size: Makes 2 servings - One for Mom, one for Daughter!
