Introduction

Ingredients

    1 and a half pounds of lean ground beef
    1 cup of chopped yellow or spanish onion
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 jar Paul Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce
    30 green olives stuffed with pimento, drained
    2 T capers, drained
    Salt

Tips

I occasionally may add a tsp of sugar to bring out the tomato flavor. This is a quick, easy recipe and a family favorite.


Directions

Brown beef in large pan, adding onions and garlic powder. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Add the jar of sauce. I rinse the jar with a little water and add this to the pan also. Stir the ingredients together, add the olives and capers to your taste as they have strong flavor. Salt to taste.

Serving Size: makes 6 one cup servings of sauce
