Introduction

One easy way to increase fruits & veggies. One easy way to increase fruits & veggies.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

It is helpful to add ingredients in the following order:

    1. Blend romaine and 1 1/2 to 2 cups water, then add spinach and blend well.

    2. Add apple, pear and celery, cored, cleaned and chopped into big chunks.

    3. Add juice of 1/2 lemon.

Blend well, use a machine that will handle the peels. Use organic as available.

Depending on the ripeness of fruits, you may want to add some type of sweetener - I use agave nectar. I also add 1/2 cup or so of ice during the end of blending.

You can use any kinds of greens - this is just a guideline.

Directions

Blend well, and this can save for three days. You can freeze too, but not recommended for beginners.
