Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill GF All purpose Flour
    1/2 cup Yellow cornmeal
    1 Tsp Baking powder
    1/2 Tsp Baking soda
    1/4 Tsp Xanthum gum (very important!!)
    Sprinkle of salt
    1/2 cup 1% skim milk (I have also used soy milk)
    1 egg
    1/2 of 1/4 cup of canola oil
    1/2 of 1/4 cup of light pancake syrup


Tips

Don't forget the xanthum gum, otherwise your bread will be very flat.


Directions

Mix all dry ingredients, and then add the wet ingredients. If mixture is too watery add more corn meal for the texture that you prefer.
Oven should be heated to 400 degrees.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
