Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

*Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 40 oz (remove)
Cabbage, fresh, 4 cup, chopped (remove)
Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 3 cloves (remove)
*Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 2 cup (remove)
    Tomato Sauce, 2 cup (remove)
Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 4 cup (remove)
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Directions

Spray a large stockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Brown the ground turkey along with the onion, garlic and celery. (Stir in whatever spices you like at this point. I like to take it Mexican with chili powder and cumin, or Italian with oregano and basil.) Add the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garbanzo beans (or whatever kind of beans you have on hand) and water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes or until the cabbage has softened to your liking.

Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with brown rice.
