Ingredients

1 c water (lukewarm)
1 t sugar
2 T bakers yeast
1 c water (lukewarm)
2 T honey
1 T oil
1 egg
2 t salt
2 c rolled oats (quick cooking)
1 1/2 c rye flour
1/4 c wheat germ
1/3 c bran
2 1/2 c whole wheat flour (approx)
1 tsp oil
Tips
Can be kneaded by hand.
A very dense dinner roll
Directions
In mixing bowl of tabletop mixer (ie Kitchenaid), combine 1 c water, sugar and yeast. Let sit 10 mins
Add liquid ingredients and stir 30 s using dough hook.
Add dry ingredients except whole wheat flour and combine on speed 2 for 3 mins
On speed 2, Add Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup at a time until dough comes away from bowl. Test dough should be slightly sticky.
Mix 3 more minutes.
Form ball and let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down. Form intil rolls and place on oiled covered parchment. Let rise until double in bulk.
Bake at 375 F approx 25-30 mins.
