Ingredients

    2 cans red kidney beans
    2 cans chili beans
    28 oz stewed tomatoes - this equals 1 quart canning jar or two 14.5 oz jars from the store
    1 green pepper finally chopped - i blend mine
    2 long green onions - chopeed or blended
    3 - 1/8 tsp garlic powder
    3 TBSP chili powder
    2 TBSP sugar
    1 TBSP crushed red pepper or ground cayenne pepper
    3 TBSP white vinegar
    1 tsp. ground cumin

Directions

I place all the ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low all day. It can be placed in a sauce pot and cooked in an hour. Add less cayenne if you don't like spicy things.

We like to top it with fat free sour cream and tortilla chips. My husband likes shredded cheddar or mozeralla cheese.
