Ingredients

    olive oil spray
    2 tomatoes cut in half widthwise
    1 tsp oregano
    freshly ground pepper
    4 200gr Porterhouse steak

    Polenta
    2 cups of water
    1 1/2 cups low fat milk
    2/3 cup polenta
    1 1/2 tsp english mustard
    1 1/2 tabs seeded mustard

Tips

Add mashed potato instead of polenta


Directions

Preheat oven to 150 C place tomatoes on a baking tray and spray lightly with oil. Bake in oven for 30mins untill tender.
Bring water and milk to the boil in a po over medium heat. Whisk in polenta, ensuring it is well combined. Reduce heat and simmer for approx 40 mins, whisking occasionally,until smooth and thick.
Halfway through cooking polenta, cook steaks under hot grill for 5-7mins on each side or as desired.
Set steaks aside to rest for 5 mins in a warm place, loosley covered with foil. Add mustards to polenta and mix well. Spoon polenta on each plate, place steak on top. Drizzle over any jucies and serve with roasted tomatoes.
