Introduction

Tasty meatloaf, made with 100% whole wheat grain bread, and 93% lean ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Tasty meatloaf, made with 100% whole wheat grain bread, and 93% lean ground beef and spaghetti sauce.

Ingredients

    2lb lean ground beef
    4 slices 100% whole wheat bread, crumbed
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce (aprox.), I used Ragu
    3 eggs
    roughly 1/2 cup mushrooms diced.
    1/4 tsp Kosher salt
    chili powder, a few shakes
    Garlic powder a few shakes
    Oregano, a few shakes

Directions

Preheat oven to 375

Put bread in a blender or processer, and chop till made into crumbs. Set aside. Put meat in mixing bowl. Add processed crumbs to meat. Add remaining ingredients except save out some of the spaghetti sauce for the top of the meatloaf. Combine mixture and mix well into meat. Form into a loaf and put into a loaf or meatloaf pan, or some other baking dish.

Bake 1 hour

Serving Size: 6 to 8 servings. Nutrition is figured on 6 so a 1/6th of the meatloaf
