Fast and simple delicious cheesy homemade macaroni and cheese dish. The cottage cheese adds a wonderful creaminess to the dish. Feel free to use whole-wheat or other noodle type, experiment with cheeses and add frozen veggies if desired. We serve with a nice salad. Ingredients

    3 cups Macaroni noodles
    .25 cup Butter
    24 oz container Cottage Cheese
    1.5 cup Cheddar Cheese
    .5 cup Parmesan Cheese
    3 cups Water

Directions

Place butter, macaroni, cheddar, parmesan and cottage cheese in slow cooker. Pour boiling water over everything and mix well.

Cover and cook on High for 2 hours.
