Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound lean ground beef
    2 cups frozen carrots and beans
    14 1/2 oz del monte no salt diced tomatoes
    1/2 cup of diced onion
    1 cup of sliced muchrooms
    12 oz heinze savory beef gravy
    1/2 tsp basil
    2 tbs chili sauce
    1/8 tsp pepper
    6 servings instant mashed potatoes
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Brown ground beef and onion in a fry pan.

In large pot combine browned beef, onion, carrots, beans, tomatoes (with liquid), mushroom, gravy, basil, chili sauce, and pepper. Warm over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Place mixture in 3 qt dutch oven pot or baking dish. Top mixture with prepared instant potatos and spread evenly. Top it off with cheddar cheese.

Place in oven at 350 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Makes 6 large servings.

    this recipe looks good but being vegaterion i would replace the meat with soya meat and the gravy with veggie gravy and then it would be great. kitty1000 - 1/12/08
