Ingredients

    Trader Joe's Lean Beef Stew Meat, 24 oz
    Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1.5 cup
    Red Wine, 16 fl oz (Cheap French wines work well)
    Garlic, 2 cloves
    Potato, raw, 6 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)
    Salt, 2 tsp (remove)
    Black Pepper (Ground), .5 tsp
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, large (11"-12" long)
    whole onion, raw (1 onion)
    Flour, white, .25 cup
    Mushrooms 1.5 cups

Directions

Place meat in crock pot.
Mix flour, salt, pepper and pour over meat.
Stir to coat meat with flour.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
Stir stew thoroughly before serving.


Serving Size: Makes between 6 and 8 Servings
