Introduction

I used the recipe from the Quaker oats lid. Then I replaced half the sugar with baby food. Any of the sweeter kinds (i.e. not spinach etc) will do, or applesauce. I used Splenda instead of the sugar, and also used less than called for. Due to these substitutions these cookies do not melt in to the cookie shape, but still taste good. They do not taste as sweet, either. I used the recipe from the Quaker oats lid. Then I replaced half the sugar with baby food. Any of the sweeter kinds (i.e. not spinach etc) will do, or applesauce. Ingredients

    1/4 c. Baby food
    1/4 c butter
1/3 c brown sugar Splenda blend
    1/3 c Splenda granulated
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp salt
    3 c oats
    1/2 c golden raisins
    1/2 c regular raisins
Or 1 cup of whichever you like

Tips

These do not melt and spread out so you can put them closer together on the cookie sheet.

They are less sweet than making the normal way, but still pretty tasty. Add more Splenda if you are worried about it.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Cream baby food and sugar. Add the other ingredients one by one until incorporated. Drop by rounded tablespoon on to ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 mins.
