Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Pound of Extra lean ground beef
    1 Can Campbell's 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 Cup reduced fat sour cream
    3/4 cup buttermilk
    1 large egg
    2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 cup crispy fried onion rings ( canned)
    1 tsp celery seed
    8 Pillsbury Grand JR Biscuits uncooked

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Divide canned onion rings into two 1/2 cup portions.Spray large frying pan with Pam, brown beef breaking up into bite sized pieces as it cooks. Drain beef and place into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Wipe pan and saute mushroom slices. Mix mushrooms, soup,3/4 cup buttermilk and 1/2 cup onion rings in casserole dish. Slice biscuits in half and place cut side down around the outside edge of the casserole forming a ring. Mix egg and sour cream until smooth, stir in celery seed. Pour mixture over top of all, biscuits and into the center of the ring. Sprinkle remaining onion rings over all. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until biscuits are nicely raised and brown.
