Ingredients

    8 oz/227 gms Fried Tofu (cut triangle in half)
    5 Large Hard Boiled Eggs
    5 Mushrooms (cut in half, remove stalk)
    4 cups Water
    1 pulp garlic (lightly pounded with cleaver)
    4 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
    3 tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce
    1-2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
    1 dash of Salt

Tips

Can substitute extra firm tofu instead of fried tofu.


Directions

Hard boiled eggs. Soak mushrooms. Cut Triangle Fried Tofu in half. Remove egg shells. Cut mushrooms in half and remove stalk.

Heat up a pot or preferably a big clay pot with 4 cups of water. Bring to boil and then add in the garlic, hard boiled eggs, fried tofu, mushrooms, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce and dark soy sauce. Lower heat to medium and braise for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste. Continue to simmer on the lowest heat for another 15-20 minutes. Dish out and serve hot with steamed white rice.
