Ingredients
-
15 Italian Style Turkey Meatballs
3 Lean Turkey Italian Sausages
7 oz can Ortega Diced Green Chiles
1 Tbsp Kroger Garlic Spread
4 tbsp Restaurant Style Salsa
1 can Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano
3 tbsp minced Garlic
1 box Barilla Whole Grain Rotini, 7 serving
1 jar Bertolli Vineyard Marinara
Tips
Alternately you could boil water and cook the pasta normally but this is how I did it this particular time.
Directions
Spray pot with non-stick spray.
Place sausages and meatballs in bottom of pot.
Add minced garlic.
Add diced chilies.
Add tomatoes with juices.
Add garlic spread.
Add salsa.
Cover and set on Low or Automatic for several hours.
About an hour or so prior to serving, cut sausages in half; leaving them in place in the pot.
Add the rotini pasta.
Add the marinara sauce.
Stir.
Cover again and set on Low (if you didn't have it on Low already).
Check every so often from that point until it looks as if the pasta has softened and is ready/sauce has heated sufficiently.
