Introduction

These are great brownies to turn to when you're having a chocolate-attack. They are [almost] guilt-free, low in calories, and they have a happy dose of fiber from the whole wheat. Enjoy! Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup organic raw agave nectar
    3 egg whites
1/4 cup plain fat free yogurt
    2 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Tips

No, these don't compare to the two-sticks-of-butter brownies found in traditional cookbooks, but they do the trick when my baking gene kicks in about once a week. I hope they will work for you too!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients until well-combined and smooth.
Add dry ingredients and whisk again until smooth. Do not overmix. A few tiny lumps are okay.
Pour batter into a 9x13" baking pan sprayed lightly with baking spray.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, until toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
Allow to cool before cutting.
