    10 CUPS OF WHOLE FRESH MUSHROOMS
    1 ONION
    1 POUND OF FATTY BACON
    1 STICK OF REAL BUTTER
    1 CUP OF 1/2 AND 1/2
    1 CUP OF HEAVY CREAM
    1 GARLIC CLOVE
    SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

MAKES 10 1-CUP SERVINGS

TAKE ENTIRE POUND OF BACON CUT INTO 3 INCH CUBES. SAUTE WITH ONE STICK OF REAL BUTTER AND ONE ONION DICED. DO NOT ALLOW BACON TO BURN OR BECOME CRISP. SAUTE UNTIL BACON AND ONIONS SOFTEN. SET ASIDE AND DO NOT DRAIN. PUT 6-8 PACKAGES OF WHOLE MUSHROOMS IN A STOCK PAN, POUR MIXTURE ON TOP, THEN POUR THE HALF AND HALF AND HEAVY CREAM ON TOP, ALLOW TO SIMMER AND COOK DOWN. MUSHROOMS WILL SHRINK DOWN.

THIS IS A DELICIOUIS YET VERY FATTENING RECIPE, HENCE THE NAME, THEREFORE, AN ANNUAL ONE TIME DOSE IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED. THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS IS PREFERABLE.
