Ingredients

2 boneless pork chops (approx. 3 oz each)
    1/2 onion, chopped finely
    1 tsp ground ginger
Fresh orange juice (from 2 oranges)
    1 tsp pancake syrup
    1 tsp cornflour (for thickening)
    Dash of salt and pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350*F.
In a bowl, mix orange juice and syrup, blending with a whisk.
Add all dry ingredients, continuing to whisk to ensure they are well blended.
Add onions and mix through.
Place pork chops in a small baking dish and cover with prepared sauce.
Cover in aluminum foil and cook for 45 minutes or until chops fully cooked through.
You can either throw away surplus sauce after cooking (to save calories), or use it as a tangy sweet sauce over veggies and/or rice.
The recipe calculations are based on nothing being thrown out.

    O.K.
I did not think this had much flavor at all. I love onions though. Needs to have a little bit more seasoning for the pork. Some kind of rub maybe. But over all ok - 6/10/08
