4 cups Whole wheat flour
4 1/2 cups White flour
2 Tbl Oil
2 Tble unsweet Applesauce
2 Tbl sugar (divided)
2 packets of active yeast
3 cups warm water (divided)
Tips
When putting flour in cups spoon flour into measure cup so he flour does not pack, Also make sure your yeast if active if it does not get a good foam get new yeast and start over. make sure kitchen is draft free.
Directions
Place yeast in 1/2 cup Warm waterr with 1 Tbl Sugar let sit for 5 minutes to make sure yeast is foamy and alive.
In mixing bowl mix oil, Remaining water, apple sauce, and mix, then combine yeast mix, and with bread hook attachment on mixer slowly work in flour and salt mix 1 cuop at a time until soft ball forms, Make sure to knead the flour for 6-8 minutes to let the gluten develop
Grease bowl, place dough in bowl roll it in grease so it is covered then cover with towel or saranh wrap and let rise 45-1 hr till double in size, punch down, roll out on floured surface and divide in to 18 rolls , shape as oval on greased backing sheets and let rise another 20 minutes then bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
