Introduction

healthy version of banana bread, no oil or eggs - i would have liked to use whole wheat flour but i didn't have any. Ingredients

    1/3 c unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 c honey
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
    3 lg bananas mashed
    1 3/4 c flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp of baking soda, dissolved in 1/4 c hot water
    1/2 cup oats
    1/2 semisweet chocolate chips


Tips

**the recipe i used did not include the oats or chocolate chips. the recipe said it would be very moist (almost like bread pudding) without the adding of oats or nuts (whatever to your liking)
**and i just love chocolate and bananas.
**i have mine in the oven now, and will update once it's finished, please feel free to leave comments, but be nice! i'm not an avid baker, and i'm trying!!!


Directions

pre heat oven to 325*
spray loaf pan with cooking spray
beat applesauce and honey in bowl
add bananas, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla
add flour and baking soda mixture
add oats and chocolate chips

cook for about 50-60 mins, until toothpick comes out clean!

Serving Size: makes about 7-10 pieces
