Introduction

This is an adaptation from the Berry Cobbler recipe on Dr. Fuhrman.com. I wanted something more breakfasty, but still naturally sweetened. It's not oatmeal, but it's gooey and filling and low-calorie. This is an adaptation from the Berry Cobbler recipe on Dr. Fuhrman.com. Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 frozen banana (you could use a raw one, just make sure it’s ripe and adjust the cooking times)
1 cup frozen mixed berries (I used the Very Cherry Blend from Trader Joe’s)
1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1/4 cup dried fruit (I use raisins, but sometimes dried blueberries)
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons ground raw almonds (I use almond meal from Trader Joes)
    2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Mix everything in a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 2 minutes. Mash the thawed banana in with everything and stir it around until its incorporated, and microwave for another 1 minute. Serve warm.

Serving Size: I just eat the whole thing. 1 serving.
