    1 head Napa Cabbage
    1/2 lb mushrooms
    1 onion
    2 stalk celery
    2 carrots
    1 bunch spinach
    1 can bamboo shoots
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 1/2 cups Soy Sauce
    2 Tbl sugar
    1/4 cups dry sherry or red wine
    1/2 cup beef both
    1/4 cup water
    1 pkg Firm Tofu
    2 Tbl Olive Oil
    Asian style noodles


Heat Oil in large skillet. Dice Tofu and had to hot oil.

Chop remaining veggies. Add onion, celery, carrots, cabbage. Cook with lid on for about 10 minutes. Add all liquid ingredients, including sugar.

Add bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and spinich. Steam until all veggies are cooked all the way though. Add noodles and serve n a bowl.

  • This works great with chicken in place of tofu. I used bok choy in place of napa cabbage and added bean sprouts. Turned out very well. - 6/8/10
