Introduction

A very tasty, gluten-free, raw alternative to cinnamon cake donut holes. My family loves them! A very tasty, gluten-free, raw alternative to cinnamon cake donut holes. My family loves them!
Number of Servings: 11

Ingredients

    1/2c sliced almonds
    1/2c pecan pieces
    1 1/2c old fashioned oats, divided
    1/3c coconut oil
    1/3c maple syrup

    Topping:
    1/4c sugar (may use a sugar substitute, if preferred)
    1 1/2t cinnamon

Tips

Keep refrigerated in a closed container.


Directions

In a food processor, blend almonds, pecans, and 1c of oats until flour-like in texture. Place in a medium mixing bowl and add remaining oats. In a small bowl, combine coconut oil and syrup until smooth. Add to oat mixture and mix well. Form into ping pong-sized balls and roll in sugar/cinnamon topping. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 11 servings of 2 holes each
