I loved this recipe. I omitted the sausage and used Soy Hot Dogs as a substitute. I also added a sauteed apple to the onions and garlic. So good! - 10/11/08

I have made this for a long time. The only changes I made is to ad half a sliced apple, one squirt honey, and one squirt mustard. Delicious!! - 6/23/08

Just made this for dinner and it was awesome! We used the sausage but also tossed in two small mattwursts for a punch of flavor. Served with rye and spicy mustard and some cold German beer - Prosit! - 6/12/11

Made this for myself and hubby for dinner. His family is German and he said this tasted very authentic. I added two apple halves and some honey and it turned out great. Would make this again. - 5/26/11
