Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 kilo beef, round steak, chopped into inchies
    1/2 C scotch
1 swede, peeled and rougly chopped
    2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2-3 stalks celery, sliced into moons
frozen or fresh broccoli, peas, beans
sea salt, dash (or to taste)
    fennel, dried, 1 teaspoon
1 tsp potato flour, mixed with enough water to make a paste

Directions

Boil meat, scotch and fennel until soft. May take a while if you are using a cheaper cut - which is fine.
Prepare veggies. Add veggies when meat is nearly cooked, simmer until softish. Add a dash of sea salt to taste. Right before serving, put the paste of potato starch in and mix well, it will turn from soup to thin stew. It shouldn't take long.
