Baked Turkey Ziti, nummmy! Baked Turkey Ziti, nummmy!

Ingredients

    I package of ground turkey meat
    Whole Wheat Spaghetti, 1 pound box
    14.oz can of crushed tomatos
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Onions1 cup, chopped
    Oregano, ground, 2 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tbsp
    Poultry seasoning, 1 tbsp (or all season)
    Paprika, 1 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tbsp *optional for those who are anti-spicy
    Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 1.5 cups

Directions

Sweat the cup of onions and garlic in a non-stick pan with some PAM while putting the pasta to cook. make sure u stop the cooking just before its aldente cuz ur gonna bake it and u dont want mushy pasta

Brown the turkey in a non-stick pan add 1tbsp of oregano, and the pepper, salt, poultry seasoning, paprika and red pepper flakes if ur using them.

Once cooked, add the tomatos are the rest of the oregano u could also just use italian seasoning mix here. get it all bubbling and then dump in the past along with 1 cup of chese. mix together

transfer to a baking pan oven at 400 and top with the remaining .5cup of chesse

pop it in the oven for about 15-20mins just till the cheese on top browns and enjoy!
