Ingredients

    1/2 pound Black beans, dried, 227 gram(s)
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw,
    0.5 cup, chopped bell peppers
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    1 tsp Oregano, ground
    1 pkt *Goya Sazon Sin Achiote seasoning,
    2 tbsp *Apple Cider Vinegar
    1 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Directions

Soak and Rinse beans in 4 cups water (boil 2 minutes then cover for 1 hour). Do NOT drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, pepper and garlic; cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Stir mixture into beans in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until beans are tender. Serve over hot cooked white rice. about 1 hr

    Incredible!
    Great taste but please try it con achiote. May not be tradition but an incredible burst of flavor. Also, be sure to add a dollop of sour cream to each bowl with a sprinkle of fresh chop cilantro. - 11/15/15
