Ingredients

    1. Rinse and pick over lentils.Add to water, bring to boil and add seasonings, cracked wheat and chopped pepper. Bring to boil again, lower flame and simmer 15 -20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. turn off flame.
    2. Heat olive oil in a skillet stir in minced onions saute until browned slightly. Pour the contents of the skillet over the Pilaf and stir gently. Serve hot or room temperature.
    Yield = 6 servings.
