Low Calorie version of Black Bean Brownies Low Calorie version of Black Bean Brownies
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 (15 oz.) can Black Beans Drained
    1/2 Cup Egg Beaters
    1/2 Cup Apple Sauce
    1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
    1 pinch of Salt
    2 tsp Vanilla Extract
    3/4 Cup Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
    1 tsp Instant Coffee
    1/2 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Tips

Add walnuts to add a little crunch


Directions

Pre-Heat Oven to 350 F
Lightly spray 8" x 8" baking dish with canola cooking spray
1) Combine Black Beans, Egg Beaters, Apple Sauce, Cocoa Powder, Salt, Baking Powder, Vanilla, Splenda and Instant Coffee in a food processor or blender, blend until smooth, pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the Chocolate Chips over the top of the mixture.
Bake in preheated oven until the top is dry and edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan. About 30 Minutes.
Let cool 1 hr before serving

Serving Size: Makes 16 2" x 2" Brownies (8" x 8" baking dish)

    Incredible!
    Surprisingly good. Made it as per recipe and had my doubts because I cant stand aftertaste of lo cal foods. This was excellent...just the right flavor of chocolate.for me...deeper than milk chocolate...good texture. Will make again. - 12/11/16
