Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry), 4 serving (remove)
Brown Sugar, .75 cup, packed (remove)
Cinnamon, ground, .75 tsp (remove)
Flour, whole grain, 1 cup (remove)
Salt, .75 tsp (remove)
Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 0.75 cup (remove)
Milk Chocolate Candy, .75 cup chips (remove)
Honey, .75 cup (remove)
Egg, fresh, 1 medium (remove)
*Canola Oil, .75 cup (remove)
Vanilla Extract, 2 tsp (remove)
Tips
Make sure you add the full amount of honey/oil or the granola bars get very crumbly. Half of the oil could be substituted for applesauce.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan and set aside. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients; pour wet ingredients into well.
Mix until combined, then spread into the prepared pan. Using your hands, press it evenly over the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they begin to turn brown around the edges. Cut bars while still warm then cool completely. Store in an air-tight container or zip-top bag.
