I wanted to use the ingredients I had in the house to make fried rice I wanted to use the ingredients I had in the house to make fried rice
Number of Servings: 8

    Olive Oil, 3.5 tbsp(remove)
    Egg, fresh, 4 large(remove)
    brown rice (1 cup cooked), 3 serving(remove)
*White Rice, medium grain, 0.3 cup(remove)
    Peas, canned, 1 can (303 x 406)(remove)
    Saffron, 60 grams(remove)
*Old El Paso Fajita Seasoning Mix, 2 tsp(remove)

If you let the saffron sit in the water, the color will be more intense. I am surprised the amount of fat it has given that I didn't really fry the rice. I gives me pause before I will ever eat fried rice in a restaurant!

Make the rice according to directions add saffron to the water. Add the peas. Move the rice to the side. Then add the oil scramble the eggs mix with the rice and serve.

Serving Size: makes 8 half cup servings

Number of Servings: 8
