Ingredients

    1 lb Beef chuck
1 c Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain
1 pkt LIPTON, RECIPE SECRETS ONION, Mix, Dry
    1 lg Egg
    1 tsp Salt
    1/2 tsp Pepper
    1 1/2 slices Bacon (raw)
    5 tbsp catsup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut raw bacon into 1.5" pieces and lay in the bottom of small, square casserole dish. This adds bacon flavor and keeps meatloaf from sticking to pan during serving. Place ground chuck, oats, & 2 tbsp of catsup in mixing bowl. In small bowl, crack egg & add onion soup mix, salt, & pepper. Combine egg mixture by whipping with a fork. Pour into mixing bowl. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl together - mix very well and it will bind together. Put meat mixture in casserole dish and press down filling in any open spots - make it so top of it is level. Add remaining catsup and spread evenly on top of meat mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and cook for remaining 15 minutes.
