Ingredients

Rinse your lentils to make sure they're clean and without rocks. I never soak mine longer than it takes to make sure they're clean.
Start by adding 10 cups of water to your crock pot along with your 21 grams of bouillon (beef, chicken or vegetable all works) which is ~ 7 cubes.
I, then, add the canned tomatoes, juice and all, carrots and lentils. Just dump them in there.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to fit your tastes...remember though that the bouillon will add some salt.

Tips

Serve with ff yogurt as a topping to add some creaminess . This recipe also freezes really well!

Directions

set the slow cooker on high for a couple hours, then switch it down to low and let it simmer. If you can easily fork one of the carrots and the lentils are tender, it's finished.
