Introduction

Ingredients

    3/4 C oatmeal, quick oats
    1/2 C all purpose flour (I prefer King Arthur)
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1 egg
    1 C lowfat Buttermilk
    2 Tbsp butter, melted


Tips

I use Smuckers sugar free syrup to save calories.


Directions

In a bowl mix oats, flour, baking soda and sugar. Combine the egg, buttermilk and butter; stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour batter by 1/3 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden.

Serving Size: makes about six 6" pancakes
