Introduction
Delicious vegan reuben! Delicious vegan reuben!Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Bread- Two slices (or one if you want it open face, and with less calories)
Avocados, California - One half, mashed, about 71G (Depends on the size of the Avocado)
Sauerkraut, 1 cup (Or less, ya know, as you wish)
Dressing:
Garlic powder, to taste (I use about a tsp)
Nayonaise - Fat Free, 1 tbsp
Ketchup- .5 tbsp (remove)
Onions, raw- 1 tbsp chopped
Pickle Relish- half tbsp
Yellow Mustard- 1 tsp (or spicy brown)
Tips
Brown the kraut a bit! And enjoy. I like to eat mine in private because its so delicious, it feels like a private affair. Also, bring a fork, this sammy is messy!
(I saw this and modded it a bit from PETA's website while surfing Stumbleupon, and brought it here for good measure!)
Directions
Half and mash one avocado. Set aside!
Mix Nayonaise, relish, ketchup, onions, and garlic powder together for the dressing, set aside.
Heat a pan and spray (or use oil if you'd like)
Spread dressing on one slice of bread, and mustard on the other. Put down in the pan and let it heat up a bit.
In a separate pan, heat up your sauerkraut until desired hot-sauerkrauty-ness (I like it browned a bit)
Put the kraut on one slice of bread, and your mashed up avocado on another.
Let it cook in the pan until the bread browns, close, and enjoy!
Serving Size: Makes one sandwich
