Introduction

A lower fat version of a family favorite A lower fat version of a family favorite
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

1 - Fat Free, Sugar Free Vanilla pudding - the one you add 2 cups of milk to.
2 Cups of Almond Milk, original
1 extra large banana (or 2 small) small dice
4 cups of strawberries rinsed and cut in half
2 Cups of fat free whip cream
1 12oz Angel food cake - I buy one but for the bakes out there I'm sure homemade is even better!

Tips

No cooking just need to refrigerate 1 to 4 hours before serving. Do not put together the night before of the cake gets mushy. Best to put the components together and assemble an hour or so before serving.

Directions

Make vanilla pudding according to instructions using almond milk (the 2 Cup version) take 1 extra large banana and dice into small pieces. Stir in. Refrigerate
Take the Fat Free Whip Cream and fold in the 4 cups of halved strawberries. Refrigerate, covered.

I buy the Angel food cake. When you are ready to assemble (don't assemble more than 4 hours in advance) slice the cake thinly. Take half and layer the bottom of a truffle dish, add half of the pudding mixture - smooth out an even layer and then half of the strawberries and whip - again spreading out evenly. Repeat with cake, pudding, and whip. If you want to be really fancy you can decorate the top with slices of strawberries and banana. I don't bother. The kids don't let it stay around long enough for anyone else to see it!!
