Ingredients

    4 thin slices ( 2 oz.) Chedder Cheese
    4 oval slices sourdough or challah (egg) bread
    1/2 lb. deli tuna salad
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 cup milk
    2 tbls. butter or margarine

Directions

1. Place 1 slice cheese on each bread slice. Spread tuna evenly over two slices of cheese-topped bread. Close sandwich with remaining bread.

2. Combine egg and milk in shallow bow. Dip sandwich in egg mixture, turning to coat well.

3. Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sandwich; cook 4 to 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

    Dang, I wish there were an easy way to make this in advance to take to lunch and still have it be good. That would be a work lunch worth looking forward to!
