Introduction

This is the French Toast I grew up eating, and though I was eating it as a meal on a free day, I was still interested in seeing how many calories it had. Not bad! Ingredients

    6 large eggs
    1 cup of 2% milk
    1 tbsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp cinnamon
    12-13 pieces of whole wheat bread
    3 tbsp Smart Balance

Tips

I added 2 tbsp of light syrup, which added 50 calories.


Directions

Beat eggs and milk together. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon. Heat a skillet or cast iron pan to a low setting and butter it with the Smart Balance. Dip the each piece of bread in the mixture and make sure it's thoroughly saturated. Place on skillet and cook until brown, then flip and brown the other side. Voila!
