This is my family's favorite lasagna, no one likes cottage cheese or ricotta. I have reduced the amount of cheese that I used prior to changing my eating habits. Ingredients

    1 can Hunt's meat flavored pasta sauce
    1 pound ground beef
    2 tsp sugar (optional)
    6 lasagna noodles, cooked/drained
    2 cups shredded part skim mozzarella

Tips

I only added sugar to my recipe originally to help with the bite of tomato based foods. You can omit it to save calories. I use 2 foil loaf pans to make it easier to get equal servings, then freeze individually for quick meals.


Directions

Brown and drain and rinse. I use turner to "chop" meat to make the sauce thicker. Add sauce, simmer for 10 min. Add sugar (optional), stir well.

Divide and layer: sauce, then 1/4 cup cheese, then 1 noodle into (2) foil loaf pans each the same. Continue with the next layers the same. Top with remaining sauce, then 1/4 cup cheese.

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or desired golden cheese. Let cool, cut into 6 servings.
