Introduction

I altered a recipe from The Frugal Girls to create this amazing syrup. I'm not much of a syrup fan and I can eat this by the spoonful!

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 C sugar (white)
    1/2 C water
    1/4 C corn syrup (optional)
    1 tsp imitation maple flavor

Tips

Best served warm. Can be made in any size using a 2-1 sugar to water ratio.


Directions

Mix sugar and water in a pan on the stove on medium-high/high heat. Mix continuously. Remove right before it comes to a roiling boil. Add corn syrup for thickness.

Remove from heat and add maple flavoring. Mix. Let cool. And serve.
