Introduction
I was in the mood for something sweet and had some calories left to my day, but wanted to make a healthy choice rather than sending husband out for ice cream lol This is what I came up with. enjoy I was in the mood for something sweet and had some calories left to my day, but wanted to make a healthy choice rather than sending husband out for ice cream lol This is what I came up with. enjoyNumber of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1 Peach, ripe but not too ripe
2 tsp Brown Sugar (or less if you like)
cinnamon
Tips
Chose a peach that gives a little when LIGHTLY squeezed. If your peach is too ripe or not ripe enough, you will not be able to pull away from the pit easily. If the peach starts to stick to the pit, cut into bite sized chunks off of pit and cook this way.
Directions
Find the "seam" on the peach and slice down to the pit and all the way around the peach. Lightly twist and pull apart. Remove pit.
Place peaches flat side up on Toaster oven tray (or in oven safe pan/plate). Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Broil only until brown sugar starts to melt. Remove and let cool just a bit before filling your mouth with the most amazing summer dessert you will ever eat :)
