Ingredients
-
in the morning, heat 1 thb of sesame oil in a pan and add spice powders. Note that lemon pepper is a great salt surrogate without the sodium. Mix and heat on medium burner til fragrant (not burning).
Remove pan from heat and add plain Greek yogurt, stirring til mixed.
In a 3 lb covered solar cook pot (or your crock pot) place the skinned (lower fat, higher tastiness) and pour the yogurt mix over them, stir to cover.
In your solar oven, cook for 2 hours, or in your crock pot, about 2.5 hours.
What a great way to minimize the heat build up in your kitchen. If you have a solar oven you can never burn these meals as well.
Tips
My solar oven is the best gift I ever bought myself. My crock pot is another fabulous buy! I first used this recipe on a camping trip - the meat also grills well on a hibatchi!
