Introduction

These are wonderful! I take the pan juices after cooking and make gravy out of it. Really good over whole wheat noodles. These are wonderful! I take the pan juices after cooking and make gravy out of it. Really good over whole wheat noodles.

Very good. Can be done with any red meat. I added garlic and onions. Sauce was very good on mashed potatoes. - 2/19/11

This was very good, and did a great job of disguising that "gamey" taste of ELK. I loved it, and so did the rest of the family. I will defeinitely be making it again.
THANK YOU for the recipe :)

    Incredible!
This was fabulous! I did add some things like onion and garlic powder, and a little red pepper flakes to the flour. I also sweat down some onions and garlic in the oil before I put the steaks back in. I didn't have any tomato sauce so I used V8 juice but no water. I will make it this way again. - 1/27/13

    Good
I am not a fan of venison, but my husband has hunted all his life and this is what he loves. So I must begin finding ways to fix this game. This is a good choice to use. Thank you for sharing! - 9/1/12
