Ingredients

    1 1/3 cup peanut butter

    3 cups sugar

    3 cups milk

    Bring to a boil then turn down the heat to medium and cook for apx an hour and a half. Stir often, especially after the first 45 minutes, to keep from scorching. After 50 minutes, drop a bead of the hot mixture into cold water. When you pick up the bead, if it is hard and firm, it is ready. Remove from the heat and add:

    3 tsp vanilla

    8 TBLS butter or margarine

    Immediately pour mixture onto a buttered cookie sheet and refrigerated until it's firm enough to cut with a knife.

Tips

This is not exactly a good 'diet' recipe but I was craving it and wanted to know how many calories I was consuming. YIKES!
