Why buy, it is too easy.... Why buy, it is too easy....Number of Servings: 64
Ingredients
-
7 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and diced
4 tablespoons of Turbinado Sugar
1/2 cup water
Tips
By varying the size of the dice then you can have a smooth sauce with nice 'chunky' bits of apple in there. Can be served with Pork Chops, served warm with some cold Vanilla Ice Cream (guilt free of course) or use as a sweetener in oatmeal or muffins.
Directions
Peel and dice the apples
Put apples, sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil
Stir, cover and reduce heat to low so that apples are just simmering
Allow to simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
