Ingredients

    10 oz half and half
    1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth)
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
    3 teaspoons brown sugar, packed
    1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    1 large lime - just the juice
    A couple dashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce to taste




    Lime Juice, 1 lime yields (remove)
    *Louisiana Hot Sauce (Original), .25 tbsp (remove)

Tips

I found it the easiest to mix the half and half, peanut butter, and brown sugar together. The end texture should be pretty thick, and in my experience the texture is very thin for awhile and suddenly gets very thick, so be on the lookout for that.


Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and keep warm.

Serving Size: Makes 1 1/2 cups
